2.1 Mega-Rod provides drain cleaning, unblocking, CCTV drain surveys, drain repairs, and related services in Bath, Bristol, and surrounding areas.
2.2 All services are subject to availability and may require an initial assessment.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 All prices are quoted in GBP and are subject to VAT where applicable.
3.2 Estimates are provided based on initial assessments but may be subject to change if additional work is required.
3.3 Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.4 We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Late payments may incur additional charges.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1 Customers may cancel or reschedule an appointment by providing at least 24 hours’ notice.
4.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
4.3 The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or equipment failure.
5. Liability and Warranty
5.1 While we take every precaution to deliver high-quality services, Mega-Rod is not liable for any pre-existing damage to drains, pipes, or surrounding areas.
5.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring clear access to work areas and securing permissions where necessary.
6. Customer Responsibilities
6.1 Customers must provide accurate information about their drainage issues when booking a service.
6.2 The Company is not responsible for delays or additional costs due to incomplete or misleading information provided by the customer.
6.3 Customers must inform Mega-Rod of any hazards or restrictions that may affect service delivery.
7. Complaints and Disputes
7.1 If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We will investigate and aim to resolve any issues promptly.
7.2 Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably may be referred to an independent mediation service.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
8.1 We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws.
8.2 Customer details will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 Mega-Rod is not liable for failure to fulfil its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, and supply chain disruptions.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any legal proceedings must be conducted in the courts of England and Wales.
